McClellan Business Park is pleased to announce the recent sale of 3.34 acres to H&E Equipment Supply. H&E Equipment Supply plans to build a 5,000 sf sales/service building and equipment rental yard on the site to serve the growing regional commercial construction industry. The Baton Rouge, LA company is in the heavy equipment construction business and one of the largest equipment distributors in the world. H&E has 70 construction equipment supply facilities across the country including one in Rancho Cordova. “H&E selected the McClellan location because of its proximity to Interstate-80 and our ability to serve customers in the I-80 corridor.” H&E Equipment Supply Senior Vice President George Richards said. “We expect to build business relationships from the Bay Area to Auburn and North up the Interstate-5.” Ken Giannotti McClellan Park Senior Vice President added. “H&E Equipment Supply’s selection of McClellan Santa Ana Business Park adds further recognition of McClellan’s regional business identity. We continue to find that industrial and office customers appreciate the Park’s transformation to a high quality, mixed use Business Park; it’s a great place to do business in the Sacramento region.”
H&E is now proceeding with the City of Sacramento building permit processes and preliminary construction planning. Construction is slated to begin later this summer, and the facility is planned to be open in early 2016.
The 3.34 acre site is located in McClellan’s Santa Ana Business Park, at the northeast corner of Main Avenue and Santa Ana Avenue in the city of Sacramento, California. Santa Ana Business Park is a fully improved 35 acre business park; public roads and site infrastructure were completed in 2006. Several parcels have been sold and or developed, including Mirant Glass (75,000 sf building), California State Parks corporation yard (3 acres) and Mike Long Construction (proposed 10,000 sf warehouse building (on 3 acres).
Jeff Pehrson of TRI Commercial and Craig DeMiranda of Lee and Associates represented H&E Equipment Supply in the purchase and sale transaction.
