As we move into the holiday season, we are excited to bring you The McClellan CARE Holiday Food Basket Program.
The McClellan CARE Holiday Food Basket Program is an annual event which began in 2003. Since its inception we have raised over $267,690 and provided food baskets to more than 2,668 local families living at or below poverty level. The children and families we serve attend five elementary schools within close proximity to McClellan Park and The Aerospace Museum of California.
New Sacramento-region Facility to turn food waste into liquid fertilizer in just 3 hours
Siemens has announced it is expanding its footprint in Sacramento, CA by opening a new 60,000 square-foot plant solely dedicated to its growing rail service, maintenance and repair operations. The new site, located in McClellan Park, will be Siemens Mobility Customer Services U.S. headquarters and West Coast logistics hub. It will house the company’s rail refurbishment operations, rail bogie service center, accident repair, spare parts delivery, and administrative offices.

McClellan Business Park has inked leases with five companies totaling nearly 100,000 square feet, for a net gain of about 75,000 square feet over the last year.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Sacramento, CA – Supervisor Phil Serna will be on hand for the ceremony that marks the commencement of construction of the 265,282 square foot Consolidated Operations and Museum Collection Center for the California Department of Parks and Recreation. He will be joined by the California State Parks Director Ruth Coleman, Museum Curator Ross McGuire, McClellan Park President Larry Kelley and representatives from state, county, and local agencies, at a special event on May 30, at 10:00 a.m., at the site itself (see map, attached).

SAN FRANCISCO -- On Friday, September 30th Congresswoman Doris Matsui will be joined by senior officials from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, U.S. Air Force, McClellan Business Park and other state, local and private sector officials to announce details of the nation’s first ever completed privatized Superfund cleanup. The federal government will also be announcing an exciting new agreement between the Air Force and EPA to conduct greener cleanups at military installations throughout the Pacific Southwest.
